The Barbizon Scholarship is not just for everyone who wishes to join. The organization has some requirements and restrictions on who can or cannot partake in the program.
Barbizon’s College Scholarship Educational Level / Field of Study Requirement
Applicants of the Barbizon College Scholarship Program must be undergraduate or college students. Applicants that do not fall under this level of education must not apply for this scholarship.
No particular GPA, SAT exam score or any other exam score is required for the scholarship. This gives everyone an equal advantage. The most interesting part to me is that the Barbizon Scholarship program is available to applicants in all fields of study.
Barbizon College Scholarship Host Nationality
The United States of America.
The scholarship is available only for applicants who wish to further their education or study in the United States of America.
Applicants who wish to study in other countries or continents may not be eligible for this scholarship, such applicants are advised to apply for another scholarship.
Eligible Citizenship for Barbizon College Tuition Scholarship
The Barbizon College Scholarship is strictly available to citizens of the United States, citizens of other countries are not allowed to partake in this scholarship program.
It should also be noted that citizens of Puerto Rico are not eligible to participate in the Barbizon College Tuition Scholarship Program.
Barbizon College Scholarship Program Benefits
The winner of the Barbizon College Scholarship will be rewarded a prize of $100,000 and which will cover the winner’s four years of study at any accredited university or college in the US.
Participants who are interested in taking Barbizon College Scholarships should take note that trade and vocational schools are not allowed and cannot be chosen.
The scholarship is not awarded directly to the winner but will be transferred to the school’s account.
It is also worthy of note that this scholarship only covers tuition fees. It does not cover accommodation, meals, and other expenses that are not stated. Meanwhile, it may cover the cost of books.
Barbizon College Scholarship Rules
Barbizon College will not respond or be responsible for incomplete entries, theft, misdirection, change of applicants’ address, or inaccessible or damaged records.
The winner will have to commence class activity at the time the prize is announced or within 3 years of high school graduation depending on the event that occurs first.
Only one entry is allowed for each applicant and all entries will automatically become the property of the Barbizon College Scholarship Program sponsor, therefore they are non-returnable.
Winners must be accepted at their chosen college or university.
For the sponsor to award the prize to the winner, the winner must provide the tuition payment information and enrollment verification. If the winner is a minor, the information will be provided by their parents and their parents will be required to sign all necessary documents.
The tuition scholarship will end after four (4) years whether or not the winner has graduated from the college or university.
If the prize notification is unable to be delivered to the winner, an alternate winner will be selected and the initial winner will be disqualified.
Candidates will be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility and liability which must be received on or before 14 days of the date of the notification or the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected.
To be removed from future mailings, simply hand print your name, address, and a statement saying, “Remove me from all future mailing lists” on a piece of paper and mail it to Barbizon National Advertising Committee, Inc., 4950 W Kennedy BLVD, Suite 200, Tampa, FL 33609 after which your request will be processed before 60 days.
